Jack was drafted in 1998 by St. Louis in the 9th round. Pittsburgh acquired Jack on July 30, 2000 from St. Louis for pitcher Jason Christiansen.

Right now Jack is leading the National Leauge in Sac. Bunts. I believe that he is a great short stop. His speed makes him one of the best. He can rob batters of hit and make great double playes. He runs down the base line with such hustle that he has turned almost certain outs into base hits.
